Vacancy in CAD/ICH Division
Cultural Affairs and Intangible
Heritage Division, INTACH is looking for a suitable
person for the post of Programme and Research
Coordinator.
Educational Qualification: Post
Graduate degree or Graduate degree in Cultural/Social
Anthropology, or Sociology or History and Archaeology
and related disciplines.
Research experience in field
documentation, report writing with good communication
skills in English and Hindi. Familiarity with other
vernacular languages an additional qualification.
Also desirable: Interest in subjects contained in area
of intangible cultural heritage Indian and global
scenarios. Priority areas: folk, village and rural
textile and craft practices, performing arts, oral
literature, endangered languages, and documentation of
endangered manifestations of intangible heritage, along
with some idea of intellectual property rights. Interest
in working for aspirations and well-being of
stakeholders is also required.
Idea of documentation and photography
Duties:
-
Familiarization with INTACH
approach to ICH and development of projects.

Communicating between INTACH Head
quarters and its chapters throughout the country for
executing the activities related with ICH.

Communication and interaction with
all INTACH divisions at Headquarters.

Supporting other INTACH activities
as required including organizing conferences, seminars,
workshops, fairs and festivals, preparing policy briefs,
fund raising, mobilizing support for activism and
awareness building.
Remuneration: Commensurate with qualifications,
experiences and aptitude. (It must be remembered that
INTACH is an NGO and thus remuneration is not on a
commercial level)
